I started my weightlifting and volleyball career at 13 years old and fell in love. It was my escape into a challenging and fulfilling world.

I received an NCAA scholarship and played to my senior year of college. At this point, I shifted gears and entered the world of Powerlifting. I won the 2006 Women’s Nationals and made the 2006 Worlds PowerLifting Team. Once I graduated from college I shifted my attention to Natural Bodybuilding, winning the Michigan Class Natural Bodybuilding Championship in 2007.

In 2010 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which lead me down a path of exploration. I began to transition out of a competitive mindset and into a new relationship with my body, learning about diet, nutrition, food intolerances, and supplementation.

I have learned that no matter what your goals are for your physical body whether it is becoming leaner, bigger, stronger, or faster, you will have the greatest success when you learn to push yourself outside of the traditional comfort zones and mindsets.

Healing

My introduction to Reiki was from an old friend who was able to move a metal hanger from across the room using his intention/energy. During his schooling to become a massage therapist I was shown how to feel the energy moving through a person’s body but not knowing what I was truly feeling.

Through a series of synchronistic events, I began to recognize my energy and healing abilities which lead me to expand my Holistic practice to include Pranic Healing, Karuna Holy Fire Reiki, Energy Work, and Life Coaching. Each modality has a time and place.

In order to provide my clients with the most effective services possible, I am currently working toward my LMFT (Licensed Marriage, Family, Therapist).

My Life

I am a mother to an amazing young being. She constantly keeps me present and teaches me lessons about myself and our interactions with others.

I am a full-time coach/healer while I finish my final semester as an MFT Trainee at CSU Fresno under the supervision of Jessica Martinez LMFT115986. I love working with my clients on all levels. I realize we are each unique individuals living our lives to the best of our abilities. It’s been a wonderful and trying journey to get where I am. My clients are regularly comparing themselves to me and I remind them that I have been on this path for the last 26 years. I’ve had my setbacks but always strive to recognize the aspects of my life and behaviors that no longer serve me. I practice what I teach… One day at a time.
