An Integrative Approach to Healing

Understanding the Mind, Body, and Nervous System Connection

Many people enter therapy hoping to feel less anxious, less overwhelmed, or more connected to themselves and others.

While insights and understanding are important, lasting change often requires more than talking about our experiences.

Our emotions, relationships, stress responses, and life experiences are not only stored as thoughts, they may be reflected in our bodies and nervous systems.

My approach recognizes that healing involves the whole person.

Why an Integrative Somatic Approach?

Traditional talk therapy can be incredibly valuable. However, an integrative somatic approach helps develop awareness of how emotional experiences are expressed through the body, nervous system, thoughts, and behaviors.
